Feeling something, however strongly, does not make it true. My depression told me that no one cared about me because no one ever could. That was a lie.
Peter Watson says
Love, love, love our freckled Wren! Absolutely one of my favorite characters, Clay. She loves Robin so unconditionally, but Robin struggles so much to believe it. That’s the complete shits about depression, in a nutshell.
As always, great comics, Clay. I got all caught up with your others; I’ll have to take a look & see what’s been happening!

Sometimes this is what I think about my wife of (almost) 46 years. And sometimes I think how lucky she is to have me. Because I was depressed long before we met from untreated PTSD before PTSD was even a thing, much less that kids could get it, or that kids could get it from frequent moving from one house to another nevermind the horrors of getting caught in a coup and having to station armed Marines outside the centerfield fence of the Little League field… I think I might have mentioned I had a fucked childhood.
