“Know for a fact?” Hah! Depression pollutes perception, including poisoning our imagination with insecurities. One cannot know the future, only assess probabilities.

The worst part is when you know its your depression that’s talking; “Just waiting until she cheats on me” or “she’ll leave eventually” – and you recongnize this and ignore it, only for them to do it anyway.
Like, you tried so hard not listening to the pessimistic voice in your head, only for it to be right in the end.
