sometimes … love is not even worth falling into .. you know very well sooner or later, they’ll leave you and move on..
there is no love, it’s merely a lie..

Until you find someone who loves you enough to want to “study your manual” and sturdy enough to not give up after getting surprised by sudden behavior changes. But it requires effort from your side as well to give what you can when you are in a position to give. I can appreciate how terrifying it can be to open yourself up to someone else, have done my fair share of running away from relationships before they got serious, or even before they got started. Eventually I found one that after 35 years still hasn’t run away from me, I’m suspecting she is going to be in it for the long haul…

Depression lies to you. It tells you that you are unworthy of love, that anyone who seems happy or caring is either naive or insincere, and that they will eventually abandon or betray you. The first step in my recovery was to realize that the negative thoughts and feelings I had were irrational, and to start rejecting them as such.

Exactly what Agarax said. Depression is your brain being emotionally abusive towards you. Don’t believe its lies.
