Omoshiroi strategy…
Robin, humans ARE assholes by birth design, you can’t help it.
and you can’t change the fact that .. we are born into a race that will start a fight for merely the sake of starting a fight!
also whoever comes to your face and starts spitting or coughing, like a plague spreader, is legally a bio-terrorist.
but yeah! wearing a mask is not really THAT bad! i enjoy having mu face hidden, having my expressions limited, and having my
lack-of emotions, unreadable.
for depressed people, masks are kind of “social hidden heavens”
also the bug alone is not the only excuse, you could wear one and say you caught a cold, and don’t wish to sneeze in everyone’s faces.
masks are nice!
My favorite part is, having a trans past, I can switch my voice to a lower register instantly. I’d drop register in a crowd, and insult some jerk, and if they tried to confront me about it, reply in a high register and ask them what the hell they are talking about? If you can get them to doubt their own ears its extra points.
What a backward society she lives in, where people give her grief because she does her part to keep them safe from a disease that has caused a global pandemic.
That would be the US where people are still calling the pandemic a hoax because they aren’t sick (yet).
That…actually makes a lot of sense.
This is the situation we have here. Technically mask-free, but still required to wear one in public transit, Uber, Lyft, or cabs.
Easier to wear a social mask when you’re wearing a physical one too, eh?
Another genius comic!!!
I always feel forced to smile, mask or no mask; it’s just my instinctive first reaction.
But I just got caught in the beauty of this strip. The poses are so natural, even the hands. I love the little changes in expression, the different angles, the detailed line art, the textures, and all the background details. I can look at it for a long time, simply enjoying how pretty it is and how grounded it feels.
Some mega man spreading going on next to her. 😛
I love the cold breeze hitting my face more than any mask. Y’know, that relieving feeling you get when you take off the mask.
I understand that this is an obvious trolling comment, but no one is saying you can’t take off the mask, just have the courtesy not to do it near other people.
