Dave Jw Day says
I think that’s how many of us feel even though we were born where we live.

you do realize that, no matter how hard you try to please others, or try to get accepted, you’ll always fail.
humans are unpleasable. just accept that we are all born in hell. and we will die inevitably.. so existing .. is pointless ..

All that horrible anti-Asian violence that’s been going on…it’s been happening through the entire history of the USA, but it’s reached a new level, since a Certain Someone called COVID-19 the “China Virus” and the “Kung Flu”, basically egging on his followers. Not that jerks need permission or encouragement to be jerks…

BTW, Clay, I’m glad to see you doing more Depression Comix. Will you be doing more Sunflower and Haunted Me comics?

Oh god. My brother found my diary and now my WHOLE family knows about my suicidal thoughts. WHAT DO I DO???!!! FUCK! I’M SO GODDAMN STUPID!!!!
Someone says
You are not stupid. Your privacy has been violated. Hopefully your family can be supportive and not either hostile or crowding. From your reaction it sounds like not. I’ve never known what to do with hostile family members except to keep them at a distance.
Someone says
Sorry, also from the fact that they don’t respect the privacy of a diary or journal.
Julia says
Thanks again. (I have my computer screen on automatic lock, or else my brother goes on it and reads my documents.) I hope you have a good day.
Julia says
Thank you. My brother said he thought it was one of my stories, so he started reading it. I know Dad won’t understand (because he doesn’t know exactly how mental illness works), and Mom is a nurse, so she’s under enough stress. (And I don’t want her to worry more. She’s heard about the epidemic of teen suicide.) I managed to convince them that it was a one-time thing. I think my dad and brother have mostly forgotten about it (and maybe mom, too), and I’m glad, because I don’t want them to treat me differently.
