I totally agree with the words. It’s the amazing craftsmanship of the drawing that hit me with this one though – the accuracy of the various perspectives. ❤️❤️

Thank you! I love getting thumbs up for the art!

Correction: White supremacist’s aren’t corrupting the government and police system to prevent change. White supremacist’s CREATED the system and it’s running exactly as they wanted it to from the beginning. The difference is we’re starting to notice. Everything they’re doing is not new, it’s been that way since the start. That’s why we need to basically disband the police and recreate them from the top down and the bottom up.
DoveCG says
Yes, but I think Clay meant they’re corrupting the government to make sure their intended systems can’t be altered or removed, not that these horrible systems are a creation of corruption. That’s how I read it anyway. Still good to make sure everyone understands. 🙁

Raven is correct, but i do have the answer for that question, not everyone is depressed because of the countless methods of distraction.
people are nowadays nothing more than walking zombies, they keep repeating the same routine mindlessly without questions, they accepted their slavery by salary, slavery by shitty education, and slavery by choice.
they already know what the hell is the world is going through but honestly nobody cares anymore!
only those who actually care feel bad for the planet and end up with depression because we are in an era where being stupid ignorant = you will live happily as a mindless zombie, if you are a thinking person who analyzes and deduces… you’ll realize that life is not worth living, investing in, or even bringing offspring into it . Raven the answer for your question is .. not everyone is depressed because we are in a world that’s majority are brainless idiots, that are lead by 1% people who actually use their brains and hate rivalry. that’s all
Clay thanks for another awesome page!
jackmarten says
not everyone is depressed, because everyone just gave up on awareness, and accepted the endless circle of meaningless life, you are born, grow up and die, without having actually lived a single moment in your life ..
never improved yourself, never worked towards your own goals, and never actually achieved anything you ever wanted.
if on your deathbed you still are hungry for more, it means that you never lived a day to satisfy your hunger for goals satisfaction.
on he other hand we are depressed because we have goals that we know, we want to reach them, but the society is standing in our way, because misery loves company!
C. says
Absolutely, totally, utterly correct. If you’re not outraged, you’re not paying attention.

Agarax says
People in every era have always thought that society was falling apart and the world was about to end. A hundred years ago there was a pandemic worse than this one, 20 million people had just died in a world war, most fo the U.S. had Jim Crow laws, women weren’t legally recognized as people, and if you were LGBTQ+ (not that anyone had coined the term yet) you were liable to be imprisoned, committed to an asylum, castrated, and/or executed.
SuperSurfer (@tordsland) says
I like Raven’s development from “No one but me is allowed to be depressed” to “Why isn’t everyone depressed”
Elle says
There is way too much truth to this one. I find myself wondering how all the people who don’t have depression do it. Everything is so depressing unless you completely ignore literally everything… personally, I just can’t do that when so much of it affects me and other people.
Charlie James says
Saw this again today, it’s just so on point.

Nothing like using a legitimate mental illness for political ranting. The true problem today is that everything has to be about *ideology*…
Dana W says
That’s not “political ranting” no party was mentioned. That’s about the sad state of the real world. When did caring about the the present and the future become a political party?
William Goodrich says
Damn! I say this all the time! Loving your stuff.
