part of me wonders if i didn’t hate the taste so much if I would have been like this.
Yeah, I never self-medicated like this, probably because I had seen too many other people doing it and not getting good results.
That is sad and brilliant
Oh man. If I had a quarter for every time I said or thought that.
Stomach and bladder give space for the liquid and expand. Filling the original emptiness leads to more space emerging. If actually filled to the bringe, in the end a sack reaches its limits and the unavoidable pain before a rupture starts.
The empty space does exactly the same with alcohol.
Whether it’s in smoke or liquid or any other form, the cure only lasts so long as its supplied, and it’s never perfect. This comic touches home in a major way for a few reasons.
As always, excellently captured.
I feel like I do this except with food…
WOW. I haven’t had a drink since January 2014 and just yesterday it seemed like a super good idea to start up again. This comic should hold me out one more day at least. Thank you.
This is literally me, but with food. And it all comes out the way it came in. Oh, the joy.

Yes! Thank you. I hate when people say shit like this to me. Especially when they choose to binge drink at weekends because then it’s somehow socially acceptable.
Did the same thing, but I have a range of things to fill it up with. Games, food, music, and sleep. Lots and lots of sleep.
The whole of the cosmos is an empty space with a wee bit of sparkly stuff inside. Do not try to fill it, the gravity would kill us all, that’s all.^^
Not all matter sparkles. In fact, the grand majority of matter in the universe is dark and cannot be seen (dark matter).
If the researchers of cern find out that it actually is.
It hurts to see the one we love drink when they’re depressed. Just have to be there for him, and support/believe in him 🙂
