Yep, having feelings (“best night”) as a goal has tremendous odds of ending as a disappointment. Having actions (“I will dance whatever my feeling is”) as goals gives the Nope Door less room to operate.
(… and I’m the Best Person Ever to say this, since I didn’t battle the Nope Door tonight to attend a concert, but chose (?) to share my so-called wisdom here instead…)
