I often feel like this…. I wonder if anyone around me feels like this towards me….
So true
I so see this in myself, wondering about my wife… like Raj says, “yea, but not I’m wondering what’s wrong with you”.
David
I have often thought something along the lines of “Whats wrong with you” when a person tries to compliment me since it is so obvious they are wrong.
Every relationship in a nutshell.
Right in the feels. Right. In. The. Feels…
Todah for sharing, Shawn!
I just had this conversation with my special friend this morning!!!
I gotta say, during the worst of my depression, it would’ve been nice to have a girlfriend as understanding as satellite character 09.
@Torah Blaze — you talk to your penis too?
When people remind me I’m awesome, I remove my head from my and thank them for how right they are.
My arse even.
Even us non-depressed people feel that way sometimes…
I have had this exact conversation with someone who for some reason still loves me when I get like this. Its almost verbatim the conversation one night.
She always tells me “I may not get the depression, but I get you.”
this = depression
Exactly this is what makes my relationship going so bad. I hate it.
People who do believe in you seem misguided.
And this, again, distorts your worldview further.
