    Some days, at the end of the day I feel that my biggest success is that I didn’t kill myself. Most days, at the end of the day I feel that my biggest failure is that I didn’t kill myself.

    Yes. It counts as a success.

    I said it when I held my late husband’s memorial service: he survived x000 number of days. Each of those days he scored a victory. Remember the victories he won with such difficulty every other day, not this one day.

    It’s why it was a celebration of life, not a memorial service. His favorite band donated the use of a band member’s home with stage, and the band itself donated a show that day in his honor.
