Being a sciatica and fibro person, I recognized the spoons instantly. When I was really suffering through my depression it would feel like I woke up with one spoon. -_-‘ but I get it. Im glad I am where I am today. It really has gotten better, without medication (for me, others might really need it, and if you do, keep trying until you find something that works for you) im able to be mostly okay. Its not easy. It never is. But there is a tomorrow, and if you struggle hard against all the bad shit that settles in your mind, it will start to break away.

This is probably my favorite comic of all of them here. It conveys so perfectly what it’s like living with a limited amount of energy to do stuff.

What I find that sucks is the unpredictability of spoons.
I’m constantly trying to rest so I’ll have more spoons. So I won’t go out on the weekend because I’m too tired. But cone Monday, my spoons aren’t back up to a reasonable level.
Increasing spoons seems beyond my control.
