I hate it when I start thinking this, it really just sucks.
This is very much how I am, but I don’t need anyone else to tell me those things… I do that on my own…
I find I do that as well. Is that sort of how you were raised? Or is that just your own mindset?

I just say that I didn’t sleep well or didn’t get enough sleep the previous night.
It’s entirely true, it’s just that my phrasing implies that an effect is the cause.
